At what age do you know your sexual orientation?
There is not an age limit it is different person to person. Do what makes you happy and that’s what matters. Sexual Orientation isn’t a choice, you are born with it, but it can take some time to understand.
Dr. Susan Sugerman:
There’s no specific age. Sexual orientation in adolescence is fairly “fluid.” It can change shape and form during these key developmental years. While many people end up considering themselves heterosexual in adulthood, in the teen years a fairly large percentage of people will have brief or even ongoing romantic or sexual thoughts and feelings about people of the same sex. In my experience working with young people, some of those teenagers eventually decide they are homosexual, some decide they are heterosexual, and some will consider themselves in other categories (such as bisexual, pansexual, asexual, or questioning, etc.). The important thing is to choose healthy relationship partners no matter what sex they are.
